From the beginning of April 2023, the ENS is looking for a Co-Coordination for the project “SDG – Saxony thinks global – Saxony and Uganda well connected”.
The project connects civil society organisations in Saxony and Uganda and contributes to the implementation of SDG 17 “Partnerships to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals”. The goal is to strenghen and support civil society organisations. Through the project, the ENS accompanies the international partnership between the Free State of Saxony and the Republic of Uganda. The task is to consolidate existing partnerships and initiate new ones. The co-coordinaton carries out appropriate networking. Interested organisations are advised, accompanied and trained. In particular, people from the Ugandan diaspora living in Saxony will be involved in the process.
The co-coordinator has good knowledge of Uganda (country, culture, civil society), ideally has own experience in development cooperation with Uganda and is responsible for direct communication with the Ugandan partner organisations. The co-coordinator works in close cooperation with the second co-coordinator, who is responsible for the networking and qualification of the Saxon civil society organisations. The co-coordinator is involved in the preparation and implementation of networking and meetings as well as further trainings and provides relevant information for public relations.

Das ENS sucht ab Anfang April 2023 eine*n Co-Projektkoordination für das Projekt „SDG – Sachsen denkt global – Sachsen und Uganda gut vernetzt“
Das Projekt vernetzt zivilgesellschaftliche Organisationen in Sachsen und Uganda miteinander und leistet einen Beitrag zur Umsetzung von SDG 17 „Partnerschaften zur Erreichung der Nachhaltigkeitsziele“. Zudem sollen zivilgesellschaftliche Organisationen gestärkt und unterstützt werden. Neben dem ENS sind auch ugandische Partnerorganisationen involviert, die als Ansprechpartner*innen für die Vernetzung und Koordination tätig sind. Durch das Projekt begleitet das ENS die internationale Partnerschaft zwischen dem Freistaat Sachsen und der Republik Uganda. Aufgabe ist es, bestehende Partnerschaften zu verstetigen und neue Partnerschaften anzubahnen. Hierzu findet durch die Co-Projektkoordination entsprechende Netzwerkarbeit statt. Das heißt, Akteur*innen werden beraten, begleitet und weiterbildet. Insbesondere Menschen aus der ugandischen Diaspora, die in Sachsen leben, sollen in dem Prozess aktiv werden.
Die gesuchte Co-Projektkoordination verfügt über gute Kenntnisse zu Uganda (Land, Kultur, Zivilgesellschaft), hat idealer Weise eigene Erfahrungen in der Entwicklungszusammenarbeit mit Uganda und ist für die direkte Kommunikation mit den ugandischen Partnerorganisationen verantwortlich. Die gesuchte Person arbeitet in enger Abstimmung mit der zweiten Co-Projektkoordinatorin zusammen, die für die Vernetzung und Qualifikation der sächsischen zivilgesellschaftlichen Organisationen zuständig ist. Die Co-Projektkoordination ist an der Vorbereitung und Durchführung von Vernetzungs- und Steuerungstreffen sowie von Weiterbildungen beteiligt und arbeiten entsprechende Informationen für Öffentlichkeitsarbeit zu.
